water supply corporation
Pursuant to Chapter 13.2505 of the Texas Water Code, Union Grove Water Supply Corporation hereby gives notice that any person who subdivides land by dividing any lot, tract, or parcel of land, within the service area of Union Grove Water Supply Corporation in Upshur County, into two or more lots or sites for the purpose of sale or development, whether immediate or future, including re-subdivision of land for which a plat has been filed and recorded or requests more than two water connections on a single contiguous tract of land must comply with the Subdivision Policy contained in Union Grove Water Supply Corporation’s tariff.
 Union Grove Water Supply Corporation is not required to extend retail water to a service applicant in a subdivision where the developer of the subdivision has failed to comply with the Subdivision Policy.
 Among other requirements the Subdivision Policy requires Applicable elements of the subdivision Policy, depending on the specific circumstances of the subdivision service, may include:

PUBLIC NOTICE FOR ORE CITY ISD PRE REGISTRATION ROUNDUP
The Ore City Independent School District will hold its annual Pre-Registration Roundup for children living in the school district who will be four or five years old on or before September 1, 2008. Registration will be held in the elementary office from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on May 5,6,7 and 8, 2008. Children who qualify for participation in pre-kindergarten by being limited English proficient or low income will be served. Parents or guardians should bring a copy of the child’s original birth certificate, an up-to-date immunization record, the child’s social security number, proof of income, and proof of residence. Parents or guardians are asked to bring their kindergarten child to registration because there will be a short test administered. The information gathered should help us better meet your child’s educational needs. Children who are presently enrolled in pre-kindergarten will automatically be enrolled in kindergarten for the next year; therefore, they do not need to attend round-up. Regional Water Planning
The North East Texas Regional Water Planning Group (Region D) will receive suggestions and recommendations from the public on the issues that should be addressed or provisions that should be included in the scope of work for Phase II of the Third Round of Regional Water Planning (2011 Planning Cycle). Region D consist of a 19-County planning area that includes all or part of the following counties: Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Rains, Red River, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt, and Wood.
The public meeting will be held in conjunction with the next meeting of the North East Texas Regional Water Planning Group at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center, 1800 North Jefferson Ave., Mount Pleasant, Texas, on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Written and oral comments will be accepted at this meeting.
